Ich mache dieses Jahr bei der Daisy Yellow ICAD challenge mit. Ziel ist es über einen Zeitraum von 61 Tagen jeden Tag eine Karteikarte zu gestalten. Heute möchte ich drei davon zeigen und Euch eine kleine Anleitung geben, wie ihr diesen Aquarelleffekt mit Hilfe von Stempeln und Neocolor II Aquarellkreiden gestalten könnt. Verwendet hab ich dafür die wunderhübschen "Antique Botanicals" sowie das "Something Fishy" Set von Rubber Dance. Hinzu kommen noch einige meiner lieblings Texte. Alle verwendeten Stempel sind am Ende des Posts noch einmal aufgelistet.
I'm taking part in the Daisy Yellow
ICAD challenge this year. It's about creating one index card every day
for 61 days. Today I'd like to show you three of them and give you some
inspiration for another way of using your stamps.
We do some
watercolor stamping today. I chose two of the beautiful "Antique
Botanicals" from Rubber Dance, as well as the lovely crab from the
"Something Fishy" set. Additionally I used some of my favourite
sentiments. You'll find a list of all stamps used, at the end of this
post.

Mit den wasserlöslichen Kreiden male ich meinen Stempel an. Anschließend kommen einige Spritzer Wasser drüber und nun kann gestempelt werden. Den ersten Abdruck mache ich auf ein Schmierpapier, den zweiten setze ich auf die Karte. Man muss ein bisschen rum probieren um die richtige Wassermenge rauszufinden. Die Herzen im oberen rechten Eck sind ebenfalls mit den Neocolor gestempelt. Dazu hab ich den Stempel einmal eingefärbt und danach mehrere male gestempelt.
I
used the Neocolor II watercolor crayons to ink up my stamp. I sprayed
some water over the inked stamp and pressed it one time onto a piece of
scrap paper and then on my card. It's a thing of testing and
experimenting to find the right amount of water. Try it again if you are
not satisfied with your first result.
By the way, the hearts on
the right upper corner are also stamped with the Neocolors. I stamped
several times with one layer of color.
Etwas mehr Farbe geben ich noch mit Hilfe eines Pinsels auf die Karte. Dazu "male" ich mit den Aquarellkreiden auf einen Acrylblock und rühre die Farbe mit etwas Wasser an. Das ist auch ein schneller weg um einige Farbspritzer hinzuzufügen.
I
add some more color by building a palette on an acrylic block. I use
water and a brush to apply the color. This is also a very easy and quick
way to add some splatters to your creations.

Auf diese Karte hab ich die Blume zweimal gestempelt. Beim ersten mal wieder auf ein Schmierpapier und dann zweimal auf die Karteikarte. Damit das Lila etwas mehr hervorsticht hab ich den Hintergrund gelb gemalt.
On
this one I stamped my flowers twice. First time of course on a piece of
scrap paper and then two times on my index card. I added some yellow to
make the purple pop.
Bei der letzten Karte wurde anstelle der Neocolor Stifte Distress Ink für das Hauptmotiv (Krebs) verwendet. Distress Inks sind wasserlöslich. Mit einem Wassertankpinsel wurde die Farbe nach dem Stempeln vermalt. Der Rest der Karte ist mit den Aquarellkreiden gestaltet.
For
the last card I didn't use Neocolors to stamp the crab. I used Distress
Ink. They are reactive with water, so I used a watertank brush to let
the color flow. The rest of the card is colored with Neocolors.
