Intuitive Art Journal Page with Watercolors

Hello everyone!

I'm playing in my watercolor journal today using the Derwent Inktense watercolors and also the Inktense Blocks. I used stamps from Rubber Dance on the background and for the sentiment. The main image is from our Doodle Flowers stamp set. Scroll down for a link to the process video.

Mixed Media Mittwoch und ein Digi Stamp

Heute möchte ich Euch ein buntes Tag zeigen. Dazu gibt es auch wieder ein "making of" Video und einen Digi Stamp zum runterladen. Gebt den Digi bitte nicht einfach weiter, sondern den Link hierher. Über einen lieben Kommentar freue ich mich übrigens auch immer ;-).

Today I'd like to share with you a colorful tag. I created a video on how I created it and you can download the digi stamp here.

Der Zweig und die kleinen Vögel sind Stanzen von Marianne Design. Den Titel habb ich am PC ausgedruckt.

The branch and the little birdies are dies from Marianne Design. I printed the title on my computer. I used washi tape from My Mind Eye.

Eine neue Challenge bei QKR Stampede

Bei QKR Stampede startet heute wieder eine neue Challenge. Diesmal lautet das Thema "Insekten". Ich hab den mein Motiv in eine Art Journal Seite integriert. Für die Seite hab ich Masken von Tim Holtz und My Favourite Things verwendet. Die Hintergrundstempel sind von Whiff of Joy und von Kaisercraft. Coloriert hab ich mein Motiv diesmal mit Inktense Blocks. Diese Farben sind nach dem Trocknen permanent und man kann mit anderen Medien drüber gehn. Den Hintergrund hab ich mit Gelatos gemacht.

A new challenge  starts at QKR Stampede and we want to see a "Bug Image"on your creation. I created a page in my art journal. I used stencils from Tim Holtz and My Favourite Things. The backgroundstamps are from Whiff of Joy and from Kaisercraft. I colored with Inktense Blocks. These colors become permanent after they're dry. The background is colored with Gelatos.

Hier hab ich noch ein Mixed Media Tag. Den Hintergrund hab ich mit Distress Inks gemacht. Ich hab Stempel von Whiff of Joy verwendet, von My Minds Eye und von ???. Die Alpha Sticker sind von Jillibean Soup. Außerdem hab ich Schablonen von Tim Holtz und The Crafter's Workshop benutzt. Die Sterne sind mit Strukturpaste gemacht. Ein paar druchsichtige Pailletten sind auch noch drauf. Die Uhr hab ich mit Inka Gold aufgepeppt. Für den grünen Kreis hab ich mit VersaMark auf Vellum gestempelt und weiß embossed. Eingefärbt hab ich das Vellum mit Inktense Blocks.

I'd like to show you another mixed media tag. The background is created with Distress Inks. I used stamps from Whiff of Joy, My Minds Eye and ???. The alpha stickers come from Jillibean Soup. Additionally I used stencils from Tim Holtz and The Crafter's Workshop. The stars are created with some texture paste. I used also some clear sequins. The watch is highlighted with Inka Gold. For the green circle I embossed with white powder on vellum and colored it with Inktense Blocks.

Mixed Media und ein Digi Stamp

Ich pansch so gern mit Farben! Dabei ist das Bildchen entstanden. Ich werd's vermutlich als Mini-Album-Cover verwenden. Der Pilz ist ein eigener Digi (koloriert mit Distress Inks). Den könnt Ihr Euch hier runterladen. Bitte gebt ihn nicht einfach weiter, sondern den Link hierher.
Verwendet hab ich Allerlei. Der Hintergrund ist mit Inktense Blocks und Gelatos entstanden. Die Glitzerblumen sind von Hand gekritzelt. Es kamen Schablonen von The Crafter's Workshop und verschiedene Stempel (u.a. von Kaisercraft und Crafty Individuals) zum Einsatz. Der Spruch ist ausgedruckt. Außerdem hab ich noch meinen weißen uni POSCA und für die feineren Sachen den uni-ball Signo verwendet. Ich finde beide Stifte toll. Sie decken klasse! Den white Pen von Inkssentials kann man dagegen in der Tonne rauchen!

I used lots of diffrent medias. The background is created with Inktense Blocks and Gelatos. The sparkling Flowers are drawn by hand. I used stencils from The Crafter's Workshop and different stamps (a.o. from Kaisercraft and Crafty Individuals). I printed the sentiment. Additionally I used my white pens (uni POSCA and uni-ball Signo). They are both working great! They are very opaque. Not as the white pen from Inkssentials. This one does not work!
