Shadowbox

Ich möchte heute meine neuste Shadowbox zeigen. Geschnitten wurde sie mit der Silhouette Cameo. Den Rahmen hab ich mit selbstbestempeltem Seidenpapier mit Hilfe von Gel Medium beklebt. Dafür kamen Stempel von Rubber Dance und Viva Las Vegas Stamps zum Einsatz. Der Schrift-Hintergrund ist ebenfalls ein Stempel von Rubber Dance. Der Text ist aus dem White Rabbit Set von Visible Image.

I'd like to share my newest shadow box today. I cut the box with my silhouette cameo. The frame is covered with homemade tissue paper. I used stamps from Rubber Dance and Viva Las Vegas Stamps and adhered the tissue paper with Gel Medium. The script background stamp comes also from Rubber Dance. My sentiment is from the Visible Image "White Rabbit" stamp set.

Um dem Hintergrund etwas mehr Struktur zu verleihen wurden Stanzteile von Cottage Cutz mit Gel Medium aufgeklebt und im Anschluss mit Gesso grundiert. Coloriert hab ich mit den Neocolor II Aquarellkreiden. Die Schmetterlinge sind von Viva Las Vegas Stamps, der Blätterzweig ist eine Stanzschablone von Die-Namites Dies.

To give the background more texture I adhered some die cuts from Cottage Cutz with Gel Medium before I covered it with Gesso. I colored it with my Neocolor II waxpastels. The butterflies are from Viva Las Vegas Stamps and the leafy branche are cut with a Die-Namites die from gelli printed paper.
