Christmas Canvas with Die-Namites Dies

Hallo alle zusammen.
Bei dem letzten Blog Hop von Die-Namites war mein Tip aus den Stanzschablonen eine Maske oder Schablone zu stanzen und damit zu arbeiten. Ich verwende Mylar zum stanzen meiner eigenen Schablonen. Für diese kleine Leinwand hab ich mir mit dem Winter Cardinal von Die-Namites eine Maske gestanzt. Nachdem mein Hintergrund getrocknet war klebte ich die Schablone mit Gel Medium auf die Leinwand. Dann kam eine Schicht Gesso drüber und die Schablone wurde wieder abgezogen. Schließlich kamen noch einige Schneeflocken mit Strukturpaste hinzu.

Recently I told you the tip in the Die-Namites Blog Hop, to cut a stencil or mask with your dies. I use mylar to cut my stencils. On this canvas I used the Winter Cardinal as a mask. I adhered it temporary with Gel Medium to the canvas after the background was colored. I covered the whole canvas with gesso and removed the stencil. Finally I added some snowflakes with texture paste.

Zum Verzieren hab ich den Summer Branch von Die-Namites verwendet. Dieser wurde zwei mal gestanzt und mit Distress Markern koloriert. Der Text ist aus dem Christmas Cheers and Gift Tags Set von Rubber Dance. Ich hab ihn auseinander geschnitten und auf die Leinwand geklebt.
I used the Summer Branch to embellish my little piece of art. I cut them two times and colored them with Distress Markers. The sentiment comes from the Rubber Dance Christmas Cheers and Gift Tags set. It's cut into pieces and adhered to the canvas.

Snowy Ornament

Hallo liebe Bastelfreunde. Weihnachten rückt immer näher, deshalb möchte ich Euch heute einen winterlichen Anhänger für den Die-Namites Dies Blog zeigen.

Den Hintergrund habe ich passend zur Acryl-Halbkugel zugeschnitten und mit Distress Ink "Tumbled Glass" koloriert. Anschließend klebte ich den oberen Teil der "Snowglobe Scene" direkt auf den Hintergrund. Die Schneemänner kamen dann noch einmal extra mit 3d Klebepads oben drauf. Bevor die Kugel am Hintergrund befestig wurde, kam noch ein Teelöffel Schnee hinzu. Kunstschnee natürlich! Damit der Hänger gerade hängt müsst Ihr ein paar Münzen auf die Rückseite kleben.
To create the ornament I cut a background circle with the same size as my acrylic ornament. I colored it with Distress Ink "Tumbled Glass". Then I adhered the top of the "Snowglobe Scene" to the back and a second layer with only the snowmen using 3d foam squares. Before I build everything together I added a teaspoon of snow. Fake snow of course ;-). 
You need to add some coins to the backside of the ornament, so that it will hang straight.

Christmas Pocket Letter

Ich hab so viel Spaß beim Sestalten von Pocket Lettern. Heute möchte ich ein paar meiner Techniken zeigen. Für dieses Layout verwendete ich die neuen Weihnachtsstempel von Rubber Dance zusammen mit dem Musiknoten Hintergrund und dem "Pines Fir Yew" set sowie dem "Affirmations" set.
I have so much fun creating Pocket Letters and I'd like to share one of my techniques today. I used the new Christmas stamp sets from Rubber Dance together with the "Music Notes", the "Affirmations" set and the "Pines Fir Yew" set.

Lasst uns anfangen. I verwendete Aquarellpaper der Größe 10.5" x 7.5" und prägte einige Zweige aus dem "Pine Fir Yew" set mit weißem Embossingpulver.
Let's start! I used a piece of watercolor cardstock that I cut to the size 10.5" by 7.5" and embossed some of the branches from the "Pine Fir Yew" set with white powder.

Der Hintergrund wurde nun mit dem Marabu Art Spray koloriert. Ich finde diese Sprühfarben toll, da sie nach dem Trocknen wasserfest sind.
I colored the background with the Marabu Art Spray. I really like these sprays,  because they are waterproof when they are dry.

Mit Distress Ink "Walnut Stain" kamen einige Tropfen auf's Papier. Dazu drückte ich das Stempelkissen auf einen Acrylblock, gab etwas Wasser hinzu und ließ die Farbe auf den Hintergrund tropfen.
I used Distress Ink Walnut Stain to add some droplets. I pressed the the ink pad onto an acrylic block, added some water and let the drops fall down.

Schließlich kamen noch einige kleiner Spritzer hinzu und ein wenig Pearlescent Wasserfarbe für etwas Schimmer.
Finally I made some smaller splatters and used a bit of Pearlescent watercolors to make it shimmering.

Ich stempelte einge der Kreis vom "Round in Circles" set, einige Zapfen vom "Frosty Friends" set und die "Music Notes". Für die Kreise verwendete ich Distress Ink "Walnut Stain" und StazOn "Jet Black", wegen des Embossings, für die Zapfen und Musiknoten. Die Seite habe ich in 9 Karten geteilt bevor ich stempelte. Einfacher wäre es umgekehrt gewesen!
Mit Gesso und Distress Glitter "Clear Rock Candy" gab ich den Kanten der Karten einen frostigen Look.
I stamped some circles from the "Round in Circles" set, some of the cones from the "Frosty Friends" set and the "Music Notes". I used Distress Ink "Walnut Stain" for the Circles and StazOn "Jet Black" (because of the embossing) for the cones and the music notes. I cut my page into 9 pieces before I added those stamps. It would have been easier to stamp first and then cut!!!
I used gesso together with Distress Glitter "Clear Rock Candy" on some of the edges of every single card to get a frosty look.

Jetzt war es an der Zeit die Motive vorzubereiten. Coloriert habe ich mit Distress inks und goldenen Pearlescent Wasserfarben. Die Schleife und das Geschenk sind mit goldenem Pulver embossed.
Now it was time to prepare the images that I wanted to add to my pockets. I colored them with Distress Inks and with some of the golden Pearlescent watercolors. The Gift and the bow were embossed with gold powder.

Es kamen noch ein paar Verzierungen hinzu und ich konnte die Taschen füllen.

Christmas Pocket Letter with Viva Las VegaStamps!

Heute zeige ich Euch einen Pocket Letter auf dem ganz viele der außergewöhnlichen Stempel von Viva Las VegaStamps! zum Einsatz kamen. Ich hab so viel Spaß beim gestalten von Pocket Lettern und trotzdem bin ich noch nicht zum Tauschen gekommen. Ich hebe sie auf und sende sie von Zeit zu Zeit an Freunde. Bei den meisten meiner Seitenlayouts starte ich mit einem großen Bild, welches ich in neun Teile schneide. Für diesen Brief verwendete ich Distress Ink "Tumbled Glass" und "Pumice Stone" um einen Aquarellhintergrund zu erhalten. Bevor ich die Seite in einzelne Karten schnitt stempelte ich die Bäume. Verwendet habe ich dafür die "Redwood Trees", die "Fir Trees Silhouette" und die "XMas Silhouette Collage".
I share a Pocket Letter today on which I used lots of the gorgeous Viva Las VegaStamps!. I have so much fun doing Pocket Letters altough I don't treat with them. I save them and send them to friends from time to time. Most of my Pocket Page layouts start with one full picture that I cut into nine pieces. For this one I used Distress Inks "Tumbled Glass" and "Pumice Stone" to create a watercolor background. Before I cut the cards I stamped a tree landscape on the bottom. I used the "Redwood Trees", the "Fir Trees Silhouette" and the "XMas Silhouette Collage".

Jede einzelne Karte ist mit unterschiedlichen Stempeln verziert. Manchmal hab ich direkt auf die Karte gestempelt, machmal wurde der Abdruck ausgeschnitten oder embossed. Alle Stempel die ich verwendet habe findet Ihr am Ende des Posts.
I embellished every single card with different stamps. Sometime I stamped them directly onto the card, sometimes I cut them out or emboss them. You'll find all stamps I've used at the end of this post.

An den Kanten jeder Karte kam noch etwas "Schnee" mit Hilfe von Strukturpaste zusammen mit Distress Glitter "Clear Rock Candy".
I added some "snow" to every card for a little bit more interest. I used texture paste together with Distress Glitter "Clear Rock Candy".

Der süße Vogel wurde mit Distress Inks koloriert. Den Ilex habe ich mit weißem Pulver embossed und ebenfalls mit Distress Inks angemalt.
I colored the lovely Berry Bird and the Christdorn with Distress Inks. The Christdorn was embossed with white powder before I add the color.

Diesmal wollte ich endlich mal eine andere Kartenform verwenden, weshalb ich mich für eine runde Basis entschieden habe. Zum Verzieren habe ich den Holly Branch von Die-Namites verwendet sowie einige Holzsterne.
I decided to work with another shape this time, because I am a little bit bored by the square cards at the moment. I used the Die-Namites Holly Branch and some wooden stars to embellish the card.

Den Hintergrund habe ich mit dem Musiknoten Stempel von Rubber Dance gestaltet. Der Abdruck ist mit VersaMark Tinte gestempelt und mit Distress Embossingpulver "Broken China" geprägt.
I embossed the Music Notes from Rubber Dance with Distress powder "Broken China" on my brackground layer.

Warm Wishes

Heute möchte ich Euch mal wieder ein Weihnachtskärtchen präsentieren. Es ist recht einfach gehalten. Als Basis wurder Kraftpapier verwendet. Der Schneemann und der Spruch ist aus meinem ersten eigenen Stempelset, dass ich zusammen mit Rubber Dance entworfen habe. Gestempelt hab ich Ihn einmal direkt auf die Karte und einmal auf weißen Cardstock. Dieser wurde dann ausgeschnitten und aufgeklebt.
I'd like to share a new Christmas Card. I kept it really simple. Kraft paper was used for the card base. The lovely snowman is on of my stamp designes I did for Rubber Dance. The sentiment comes with the same set. I stamped the snowman once directly onto the card and a second time onto a piece of white cardstock. I cut this one out and adhered it to my card.

Verziert hab ich mit den wunderhübschen Stanzschablonen vo Noor! Design. Den großen Stern im Hintergrund hab ich mit Fran-tage Embossingpulver aufgepeppt. In die Mitte der filigranen Eiskristalle kam jeweils ein Facettenstein von Scrapberry's.
I embellished the card with the beautiful dies from Noor! Design. The big star in the background is covered with a little bit of Fran-tage embossing enamel. I added a facette gem from Scrapberry's in the middle of each snowflake.

Ich hab das Thema vom Januar 2015 ausgewählt und diese Winterkarte gestaltet. Verwendet wurde dafür der süße Schneemann aus der brandneuen August Kollektion.
I've chosen the January 2015 color scheme for this winter card. I used the lovely snowman form the brand new August stamp release. 

Koloriert hab ich den Schneemann mit Distress Inks. Die Schneeflocken sind mit Fran-tage Embossing Enamel entstanden. Die Stanzen im Hintergrund sind von Noor! Design und Memory Box. Der Winterschriftzug ist von Sizzix und die Weihnachtskugeln sind ebenfalls von Noor! Design.
I used Distress Inks to color my image. The snowflakes are made with Fran-tage chunky white embossing enamel. The dies in the background are from Noor! Design and Memory Box. The "Winter" word is a Sizzix die and the Christmas ornaments are from Noor! Design as well.
