Mixed Media Tag with STAMPlorations and PanPastels.

Hi my dear crafty friends.

It's time for another stencil sunday over at the STAMPlorations blog. Today I'd like to share a mixed media tag. I used PanPastels together with some of the awesome STAMPlorations stencils to create the background. The lovely flowers are from the new Big Bloom Stamp set.
I used the Gelli Plate together with Gel Medium to seal the PanPastels.

Smile - Card with Visible Image Stamps

Hi my dear Visible Image Friends!

I LOVE the super unique Visometry Sets from Visible Image. They are so versatile and modern! Today I'd like to show you, how I made this card. I have some step by step instructions for you.

I start by masking my top layer watercolour cardstock with some washi tape. I stamped the images from the Visometry Set 6 randomly onto the paper using embossing ink. I used WOW! Primary Ebony powder. Make sure to add the powder BEFORE you remove the tape. Otherwise your powder will stick on the masked part!

I picked Distress Inks Mermaid Lagoon and Peacock Feathers together with some water and coloured the background.

Next step is adding some Distress Ink Twisted Citron.

Finally I added some black splatters, some handdrawn lines and my title "smile", which was cut with the Silhouette Cameo.

Hi my dear mixed media friends!

I am very proud to be a guest designer today for Tiare Smith's JAM2016. Journal About Me! This week's theme is: Favourite Animal with the technique: Embossing.
Both are things I really love!!!

On my round Art Journal Page I used stamps from Visible Image and Rubber Dance. I created a watercolor background with liquid watercolors and Brusho pigments. To seal the background I added a layer of Gel Medium with the Gelli Plate. Watch the process video to see every step in detail:

Smile A Little Bigger - Card with Visible Image

Hi everyone!!!

Saturday is my Visible Image day and I'd like to share a card with the beautiful camera set. I combined it with one of the statements from the Lough Louder set.

My background is created with Twinkling H2Os. I used the Visometry Set 2 to add texture. I think it's a very pretty effect to stamp with the Twinklings. Just add color with a pencil to your stamp. The result doesn't has to be perfect!
I used WOW! Bright White powder for the sentiment and WOW! Primary Ebony for the camera. The main image was embossed at first. I cut a mask from a post it not and covered the camera while I made the background.

Hi everyone!

Rubber Dance shows some brand new stamp designs on the blog today. On set are my designs.... here is my first tag, that I created with them. Jump over to the Rubber Dance Blog and check out all the new stamps AND the SALE!!!

I used Versa Mark Ink together with PanPastels to create the background. The flowers are colored with Pitt Artist Pens. The sentiment comes from the Collage Mix set from Rubber Dance. I stamped it with black Pigment Ink and added WOW! Clear Powder.

Today I'd like to share a watercolor card with the awesome Visible Image stamps! I used the "Music Speaks" set. I stamped the guitare three times with different intense to get some dimension.
The sound wave stamp is perfect to add some more interest in the back.
My background is made with Vallejo Liquid Watercolors.

Butterfly Mixed Media Tag

Hi everyone!
Today a new mixed media challenge is starting over at the STAMPlorations blog. I created a mixed media tag. I really love creating tags because they are so useful. You can practice and try different techniques AND you can use them in your art journal, planner or to decorate gifts. I'm sure there are lot of more ways and I'd love to know what you do with your tags, so maybe you like to leave a comment? :-)

I used one of the new Tim Holtz Mixed Media dies on the background. All the papers are from the DCWV "Maps, Text & Ledgers" Stack. It's perfect for mixed media collages!
I worked with a  Brusho background.

Feel The Beat - Retro Music Card with Visible Image Stamps

Hi my dear Visible Image Friends!

It's Saturday, that means I'm showing some Visible Image inspiration today. I am a BIG fan of the Visible Image music themed stamps. I created a watercolor card using liquid watercolors. I added some ghosting with a stencil to get the dotted circles in the background. They remind me of disco lights.

I stamped the sentiment randomly with different intense. The drummer is embossed with WOW! Primary Pink Lady, which turned out purple on the watercolor background.

Watercolor card with DCWV

Hi everyone!
Today I'd like to share a card with the awesome embossed white cardstock by DCWV! It's such a good product for quick and special cards! All I did was wiping over the embossed cardstock with VersaMark ink and adding white powder from WOW!. After that I colored the background with liquid watercolors. I added some black splatters after everything was dry. Finally I build the card together. I used the WOW! "Layered Hearts" stamp set to create my embellishments.
