DIY Die Magnet
Hi everyone.
When I saw the awesome 3d jewel in the DCWV Color & Create Kaleidoscope Stack, I immediately knew what to do with it.
I wanted to build my own die magnet. This is a tool I saw in a Spellbinders video. You can store your dies there while you are working, so you don't loose them on the craft table!
And it is sooo easy:
1. Get the gemstone out of the stack and color it!
2. Add magnets inside. I also added two onto the bottom!
3. Glue everything together.
4. You will never loose a die again in your carfting universe!
Thanks for stopping by today!
Hugs, Susanne.

Shabby Flower Card with Visible Image Stamps
Hi everyone!
As always on Saturday, I'm sharing an inspiration with the awesome and super unique Visible Image stamps. The Visometry sets are one of my favourites. They are so versatile and super special! This time I used the Visometry Set 1 to create a big flower.
I embossed the image with WOW! Primary Ebony and colored it with Distress Ink Barn Door. The background paper is from DCWV. I added a wash of gesso and the flourish image from the Revolution stamp set. I used a distress tool and my fingers to let it look really shabby.
I printed "happy" on my PC twice and used the Birthday die from CUTplorations. The script paper and the card base comes also from DCWV.
Thank you for stopping by today,
xx Susanne.

Mixed Media Canvases with WOW! Embossing Powder
Hi my dear crafty friends!
Today I'd like to share a step by step tutorial for these two mixed media canvases. I made them for WOW! Embossingpowder and showed them on their blog a while ago.
Here are the instructions:
1. Cut two chipboard hearts and emboss them with a folder of your choice. Prime them with gesso. One with white, one with black.
2. Wipe the Embossing Ink Pad very slightly over both hearts. Add WOW! bonding powder to the white one. Melt it and add the WOW! Fab Foil Gold immediately.
Add WOW! Irridium to the black one.
3. It's time to create the backgrounds. I use acrylic spray paints plus stencils at first.
4. I add Gelatos. I love to blend them with my fingers or a baby wipe.
5. I add some Embossing for a bit of texture. Stamp through the stencils with the Embossing Ink Pad and use WOW! Iced Silver and WOW! Turkish Nights Glitter.
6. I love to create texture so I add some more. I use fluorescent blue acrylic paint on the left canvas and Imagine Crafts Creative Medium on the right one.
7. I cut some leaves and colour them with a watercolor crayon. To give them dimension and a glossy finish I added WOW! Clear Gloss Powder. I do the same with the "Carpe Diem" die cut, which I cut from black cardstock.
8. I cut a doily and some branches.
9. Finaly I build everything together.
Thanks for stopping by today.
Hugs, Susanne.

Colorful Mixed Media Tag with Visible Image
Hi everyone!
I took a break last Saturday from my Visible Image inspiration routine, because my family and I were on holidays. I am a little bit sad, that our awesome days are already over, but I am very happy to be back on my craft table.
Today I have a colorful mixed media tag to share with the lovely "Own Kind of Beautiful" stamp set.
The background is created with Neocolor II watercolor crayons. Instead of blending them with water, I used gesso. So I was able to build up layers. To add some texture to it, I used pastel pencils and also the script stamp from the "Revolution" set.
The butterflies are cut out and colored lightly with Distress Ink Mermaid Lagoon.
I embossed the sentiment with WOW! Primary Ebony.
Have a nice weekend!!
xx Susanne.

Mini Album with DCWV
I used the brand new awesome DCWV DIY Mini Albums Project Stack (available at Michaels) to create this lovely memory:
This stack is so brilliant. I've never put together a mini in such a short time and I think it looks great. There's everything you need in this stack. Also the stickers and banners. I especially love the transperency sheets, because of the gold foil on it.
Thanks for stopping by today.
xx Susanne.
